Within this site, you will find general information about each office and the ad valorem property tax system in Texas. You will also find information about specific properties within the county. The CAD Bandera CAD is responsible for fair market appraisals and the administration of exemptions for properties within each of the taxing jurisdictions listed below. Additional responsibilities include change of address and public information requests. The appraisal information is then forwarded to the Tax Office. The Tax Office The Tax office calculates the taxes (levies), applying tax rates as adopted by each of the governing bodies of the entities, based on the market appraisal of each property, and then collects the taxes for these entities, with the exception of the Utopia ISD.
